How we met

Dave came to the wonderful state of North Dakota for college, where I grew up and also attended college. Dave grew up in Hillsboro, Oregon. We met at the University of North Dakota from mutual friends, and had a great friendship through our college years and after.  We began dating a few years after college, and were married September 22nd of 2007.   We are thankful and feel blessed that God directed our paths to cross, and eventually bring us together in marriage.

Our children

Elsie is our first child, she is three and a half, and is a joy to have around. She loves to read books, sing and though rather shy outside of our home, keeps us laughing constantly here.  It's been great to watch her grow and learn these last couple years, and to learn from her as well!

Samuel Judah was born to us on 04/20/2012 and is healthy and happy. We are so blessed to receive such a precious gift from the Lord!  Thank you to all who have been praying and thinking of us throughout the pregnancy and delivery.  God is faithful, and His presence was with us in a mighty way throughout this entire chapter of our lives from conception to the delivery of our Sammy.


Isaiah is our youngest and was born on 02/05/2015.  He currently loves to crawl, cruise, and get into trouble!  He laughs at his older siblings and seems to want to catch up to them as quick as possible.  We are so proud!

Past occupations



Dave - I flew as a first officer at Horizon Airlines for 7 years, and loved flying professionally around the Pacific Northwest where I grew up!  In 2012, Erin and I moved to North Dakota so I could complete the aviation mechanic program. I graduated in May of 214, and gained maintenance experience with UND Aerospace as a mechanic before coming to MAF

Erin - I have been working as a nurse in the Family Birth Center in local hospitals since graduating from college at the University of North Dakota.  I also assisted new moms with lactation.
