Due to the invaluable resource the airplane provides in reaching isolated people, MAF many focuses on serving people in isolated areas of the world such as Indonesia, Lesotho (near South Africa), Mozambique, East and West Dominican Republic (Congo), and Haiti. According to 2014 stats taken from throughout the world, MAF saved 301 years worth of travel time for their ministry partners! To put that in perspective, about 73,000 days that could have been spent simply traveling to a remote area to do ministry were instead traded for building relationship and making an impact!
